Google Pixel Users in India Anticipate Call Screening Feature to Combat Scammers

Google Pixel users in India may soon benefit from a new feature called call screening, designed to fend off scammers and unwanted calls. Exclusive to Google Pixel phones, this feature automatically screens incoming calls, saving time and preventing spam.

While currently available in only a few countries outside the US, there is speculation that this useful feature could soon extend to more countries, including India. Google is considering offering Call Screening in different languages across various countries, such as German in Belgium, Austria, and Switzerland, Spanish in the USA, French in Belgium and Switzerland, Italian in Switzerland and Italy, and Portuguese in Brazil. Additionally, English and Hindi may be included for users in India.

The potential inclusion of Hindi in Call Screening for India could lead to broader adoption, addressing a language gap that exists with some other features like Samsung’s Bixby Text Call, which currently lacks Hindi support.

Unless Google officially confirms the extension of the Call Screen feature to additional regions, users can proactively manage unwanted calls using existing resources and guides tailored for their Pixel devices. Stay tuned for updates from Google on this eagerly awaited feature expansion.
