Google ‘Symptom Search’ feature in partnership with Apollo Hospitals

Google has entered partnership with Apollo hospital and introduced a Symptom Search feature in India for smartphones, so that users may receive accurate information and self-treatment options.Its a team collaboration of doctors from Apollo Hospitals, and the tech giant.It will add tailor-made information about commonly-searched symptoms in its Search.The app – currently available in English and Hindi.It will show digital cards, providing users an overview description along with information on self-treatment options and what might warrant a doctor’s visit.Google aims thus to help users to navigate and explore health conditions related to various symptoms and quickly get to the point where they can talk to a health professional or do more in-depth research on the web.
